My goal is to capture the personality and true character of the people I'm shooting.  Therefore, my style is very candid and somewhat casual. I invite you to come by my office to see my portfolio and examples of shoots I've done for other people.  You will find the answers to some frequently asked questions below.  If your question is not answered here, I encourage you to email me or call my office with any further questions you may have.

How much does it cost?  The pricing schedule here will give you a starting point to estimate costs.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call 949.645.1807 or send me an email.

Do I have to pay in advance?  The sitting fee is due at the time of the shoot.  this covers my cost for film and a  little of my  time.  I shoot between four (4) and  eight (8) rolls of film depending on the number of people in the shoot.

How long is a sitting?  The shoot generally takes about an hour.  Children burn-out very quickly, so I like to start promptly.

How soon can I see proofs?  The proofs are generally ready for review within a week.  The proofs are for review purposes only, and must be returned to me.  There is no deadline as to when you must order your prints, as I keep all negatives indefinitely.  There is also no obligation to buy any prints.

Where will the photographs be shot?  I shoot both in outdoor locations and in brightly lit rooms.  I do not use any studio lighting, so I cannot do any studio shots. Everything is done with natural light.

What should I (we) wear?  Clothing should be simple and "non-trendy."  Simple dress will make more lasting images.  Also, lighter colors and textures always photograph best in black and white.

If we are shooting outside, the light is much better in the morning or the evening. I prefer overcast skies as the tones are more even and there is less squinting.

Digital touch-up is available, but there is an additional fee, depending on how much work is needed.
